I have installed(on vm) two servers 2008, one acts as dns and dhcp and the other is a client the scope of the dhcp address pool is 192.168.0.200-192.168.0.210 and I can see the client in the leases having the address 192.168.0.200 when I enter the local area connection properties in the client I see a different IP(192.168.232.129) he is set to get IP automaticly and can connect to internet(again this is virtual machine and the machine it is running on gets its IP from a router) I can't ping either IPs(192.168.0.200 nor 192.168.232.129) and can't ping the listed deafault gateway. my windows firewall on both is turned off. thanks.
