| Hi I reinstalled xp on my computer due to random freezes occuring. Unfortunely this is still happening. In the mean time i lost my cd's of my hardware so i am getting them of the internet although i'm not totally sure if they are the right ones. In my last xp install i did use the correct cd's and then my comp was freezing too. I have a p5E3 asus motherboard 2 gigs ddr3 ram ati radeon 4870 e8400 dual core (3.0) Service pack 3. it's a customized version. | Hello, This may be your memory or video card, I suggest you do some diagnostic testing on your system. You can download a memory test boot cd from http://www.memtest86.com/ You can also download http://www.tufftest.com/tt01-lite.htm , which does all types of diagnostics including video.
