Hi I wonder if you can help? When I try video calling someone, if my webcam isn't plugged in I can both receive their call, hear them and see them. If my webcam is plugged in, none of this occurs. It may ring for a while, but will hang up of it's own accord and then freeze the computer. Initially when it's ringing, I can see myself, and all appears to be fine... Is this due to lack of RAM, or to do with my broadband package? (Currently we are on bundle 3 with Virgin -the cheapest tariff, therefore I guess the smallest broadband width.) Also, in the webcam settings wizard when I do the sound-test, it picks my level up fine, but when I click NEXT and try to set the sound to my soundcard (M Audio Delta AP -Multi), when I try to set the level the lever doesn't stay: It slides back to the bottom of the scale. I don't understand this at all! It stays if I set it through my computer sound system (SigmaTel) but my settings aren't default to this, and I don't want to use this one! I guess my main concern question I'm hoping for you to be able to answer is my first one. Many thanks for your time [emote|:)]
