| I bought my laptop in France with XP Media Centre on it and moved to England in the fall. Now my hard disc has failed and will be replaced by HP. I was wondering if they put XP in English on the new hard disc, will my files and programs run as they did before? I got a complete backup on an external hard drive and have ACronis TrueImage so I'd just have to use the boot CD and the backup to put everything back on when I get the laptop back, but then I wonder will some stuff not work because the XP's clash? And what if they decide to put Vista on it? Should I ask them specifically not to? Coz I really don't want it... Thx for any help |
