| Alright, I've got WDS up and running, however when you push a new image down to existing clients, a folder called windows.old is created in c:\. This folder contains the WINDOWS folder, Documents and Settings folder, and the Program Files folder from the previous windows installation. I have to get around this because the windows.old folder is over 9GB! Well, apparently the only way around this is to format the hard drives on the clients before you push an image down. I have over 250 clients that get re-imaged at least 4 times a year. I don't want to go around to all the machines with a floppy disk to run fdisk. I would like to just run some sort of batch file or have a boot image run a format program, but I can't find anything to achieve this Does anyone have any ideas??? |
