Hi everyone. I have a bit of an issue im hoping to get some help on. I ghosted my XP pro and 98SE to a new hard drive, modified the boot.ini so I got the boot loader at start up, but when I try to start 98 I get this message. Thats after I put a hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe in the 98s system32 folder cuz it wanted me to do it. Now I know that when there is just one OS (xp/2000) its a miss match issue and you have to repair or reformat. So right now im kinda stuck, if some one can tell me what I need to do to the 98 partition to get it to boot I would be great full. O and I have no problem starting my XP pro partition. Windows could not start because of an error in the software. Please report this problem as : load needed DLLs for kernel. Please contact your support person to report this problem.
