all of a sudden when I start my machine there is a long beep, then silence, then the long beep again. Happens about 3-4 times then the disk light goes off and nothing happens. Any ideas ? Thanks, TK

It could be one of several things - the HD crapped out, RAM, a problem with the motherboard.
