First, a little info about your machine would help. My first concern is if the processor is really a 64bit processor. Not sure by your description of which OS boots and which doesn't (i.e. Media Center or XP64), but it sounds line one install of XP has damaged the kernel of the other. As the OS's are so similar, you may need to use something like Partition Magic to dual boot. Dual booting works with different versions of OS's - Win2000 and WinXP, Win98 and WinXP... ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100

Best suggestion is to boot only one OS. Unless you have applications that will take full advantage of XP64, stick with media center. Right now there are limited advantages to running X64 ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100
