Since the problem happens on graphic intensive games, we can almost narrow it down to the video card. First, what video card do you have (please post)? Also, are you using the most recent drivers for it? Newer drivers can help correct problems in games. Second area to consider is your powersupply - do you know the wattage (if so, please post here). Third, is cooling - games are what cause the most heat in a 'puter. If there isn't adequate cooling to the graphic card, it can overheat and cause a reboot. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800; ATi Radeon 9500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional

I ran into something "interesting" (no less disturbing). I've used Norton Antivirus for years. After running their LiveUpdate (which updates both the virus definitions and the programs), the 'puter went into a continuous reboot. The culprit was the updates to Norton AV. My only recourse was to reformat and reinstall everthing - except NAV. I chose Panda AV instead, which does as good a job as Norton, and seems to use less system resources. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800; ATi Radeon 9500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional
