I had installed my ONLY copy of OfficeXP on my laptop. Then I decided to install winXP RC2 as a test, so clean hard drive, clean install (yet nothing changed on the computer), install XP and Office XP, no problem. Now that RC2 is close to ending its life, I saw it wise to go back to my full version of ME (the pain!), now XP tells me that there is another copy of this software installed in another computer, to call MS...??????????
THERE IS NOT another copy of that software in any other computer, I know that for a fact!, what's going on? the fact is that I am now out by over a hundred pounds, wasted because I cannot use the software and unable to work...Thanks MS for 'trusting' me sooooo much with what it should be MINE after I paid you for it. |

| I had a similar problem and called the MS number listed and they got it back up and running with no problem |
