The concept to understand is the administrator has full control of the pc. If you run a virus, for example, itll have the same permissions as the current account, so itll have full control of the system.

As far as networking, if there both xp pro, just disable simple file sharing on both. Then use the same username and password for both computers. Now when you browse the network you will be silently authenticated. Search support.microsoft.com on simple file sharing or forceguest, for more info.
